Q: Should I download the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version?
A: You need to download the version appropriate for your type of computer. If you have a 32-bit computer, download the 32-bit version. If you have a 64-bit computer, download the 64-bit version. If you do not know whether your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit, download the 32-bit version.

Q: If I’ve bought Room 40, do I need to download the decryptor as well?
A: No. The full, paid version of Room 40 includes the decryptor and allows you to decrypt multiple files at once.

Q: Do I need administrator rights in order to install or use Room 40?
A: No. The Windows and Mac versions of the decryptor do not require installation. You simply need to download the ZIP file, extract it on your computer, and run the program. The Linux version may require additional software to be installed depending on what libraries you have on your computer.
